Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Benton, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The City Benton, Arkansas will receive bids on a General Contract for the removal and upsizing of storm drainage pipes and concrete curb inlets. Excavation of an existing drainage channel and construction of modular bock gravity retaining walls. Construction of cast-in-place or precast reinforced concrete box culverts. Construction of concrete headwalls and wingwalls, and roadway repair consisting of ACHM Surface Course and Aggregate Base Course (Class 7). Replacement of concrete curb and gutters throughout the project, and potential relocation of service lines near the upsized storm drainage. Erosion control will need to be maintained during the construction of the project. Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Benton, Arkansas in an amount not less than 5 percent of the amount bid. The bid proposal and work of the proposed contract shall be in accordance with all applicable federal, state, county, and local laws, ordinances and regulations. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, choose the most qualified bidder for the Project, and to postpone award of the Contract for a period of time which shall not exceed beyond 90 days from the bid opening date.
