The Chippewa County Housing Authority owns a residence located at 334 E. 2nd Avenue, Stanley WI. We are seeking lead-certified contractors to bid on the enclosed work specifications and complete the repairs. If you have any questions about the specifications, please contact Joel at (715) 559-4119 or email at: jweiss@chippewacountywi.gov MINORITY AND WOMEN OWNED COMPANIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO BID The scope of the work includes the following: roof, *windows, exterior doors, gutters, electric, HVAC, water heater, flooring, bathroom repair (removal of existing vanities, countertops, faucets, mirrors and install new water lines, vanities, countertops and mirrors), kitchen repair (remove and dispose of current cabinets, countertops, sink, faucet and install new plumbing, cabinets, counter tops and sink), laundry room repair (remove and dispose of the lower cabinets, sink, faucet and install new plumbing, cabinets, laundry sink and faucet), interior doors, insulation in attic areas. Due to the presence of lead base paint in areas to be repaired, contractors bidding that portion marked with an * must have a lead safe renovator or abatement supervisor card valid in the State of Wisconsin.
