Site work for a water / sewer project in Rosemont, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes, without limitation, furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant Work necessary to satisfactorily complete the Project, as more specifically described in specifications. This Work will be performed in strict conformance with the specifications, permits from regulatory agencies with jurisdiction, and applicable regulations. The quantity of Work to be performed and materials to be furnished are approximations only, being given as a basis for the comparison of Bids. Actual quantities of Work to be performed may vary at the discretion of the County. The work to be performed under this contract includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and and other incidental work for: potholing and locating a specified set of underground utilities within the work area. The work shall include contacting underground service alert (USA); identifying the proposed areas for USA marking; traffic control; sawcutting; excavating; recycling of insert solids; identification and measurement of horizontal and vertical locations of specified underground utilities; backfill of excavations; pavement restoration; USA paint marking removal; and pavement marking restoration for each pothole location. BASIS FOR AWARD: The basis for award shall be base bid only, with no additive or deductive items, or no consideration of additive or deductive items. Background Sacramento County needs accurate and complete potholing information at the intersection of Bradshaw Rd and Jackson Rd for a future construction project.
