Site work for a water / sewer project in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
City Wide Water Service Replacement 5% bid security is required. For questions regarding this project contact the Purchasing office, 203 S. Farwell Street, P.O. Box 5148, Eau Claire, WI 54702-5148, telephone (715) 839-4957. All improvements to be constructed under Contract 2024-17 shall be completed on January 31, 2025. SCOPE OF WORK The Owner will notify the Contractor of the location of the water services to be replaced or repaired. The services will be located throughout the City. The Contractor will be required to begin work on all water services within seventy-two hours (3 days) after being notified by the Water Utility. The Contractor shall complete all work before moving to another job. In case of a severe leak, when considerable damage is being done to the street or the adjacent area, the Contractor will be expected to begin work within 2 to 3 hours after notification from the Water Utility. All inspection and administration of this contract will be conducted by the City Water Utility, and the City Plumbing Inspector.
