This program provides for the replacement and upgrade of existing traffic signals and to install new traffic signals at locations that meet warrants. This program also installs camera actuation at signals to allow inclusion in the city's CENTRACS system for smart traffic signal technology to more safely and efficiently facilitate traffic and pedestrian movement. As of January 23, 2025, this project is included in the City of Eau Claire's Fiscal Year 2025-2029 CIP. Further information regarding a design firm and timeline for construction has not yet been awarded yet. Funding is allotted for FY 2025 - 2029. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
