Site work and paving for a civil project in Bothell, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The work to be performed for this project consists of water and sanitary sewer improvements. Sanitary sewer improvements include but are not limited to construction of approximately 720 lineal feet of new 8-inch PVC AWWA C900 gravity sewer main, 1,525 lineal feet of new 8-inch SDR 35 PVC gravity sewer main, 290 lineal feet of new 6-inch PVC AWWA C900 side sewer, 980 lineal feet of new 6-inch SDR 35 PVC side sewer, 8 new 48-inch diameter sanitary sewer manholes, 2 new 54-inch diameter shallow sanitary sewer manholes, and connection to an existing sanitary sewer manhole. Water main improvements include but are not limited to construction of 4,820 lineal feet of new 12-inch diameter DI water main, 270 lineal feet of new 8-inch diameter DI water main, 15 lineal feet of new 6-inch diameter DI water main, 87 water service connections, 10 fire hydrants, 5 combination air release/vacuum valve assemblies, 11 connections to existing water main, removal, haul, and disposal of 415 lineal feet of existing 4-, 6-, and 8-inch diameter water main, and abandonment of the existing 4- and 6-inch diameter water main. Storm drainage improvements include but are not limited to approximately 270 lineal feet of new 12-inch diameter PVC C900 storm sewer pipe and culverts and two new storm catch basins. Additional work includes temporary and permanent trench patching, a 2-inch full width grind and overlay, channelization, restoration, temporary erosion control, and traffic control. This project is primarily funded by the District but has been partially funded through the Washington State Public Works Board program with state funds. This contract involves public work. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the District. All Bidders must be licensed in the State of Washington to conduct business. The Silver Lake Water & Sewer District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in the bidding documents.
