** As of March 13, 2024 project has been awarded to Better Built Cabinets. No definite timeline estabalished.** The Crossville Housing Authority announces bid opportunities for the construction of new kitchen cabinets and the removal of existing cabinets in two public housing developments in Spring City and Pikeville, TN. Removal, construction and replacement of kitchen cabinets in 26 units of public housing in Spring City, TN. Removal, construction and replacement of kitchen cabinets in 12 units of public housing in Pikeville, TN. Tear out and dispose of existing kitchen cabinets and countertops. Caution must be used when tearing out so as to limit damage to walls and flooring. Replace with new construction cabinets including counters. Due to variations in each kitchen size and dimension, bid price should be per linear foot (installed). Each development project must be bid separately, but contractors are welcome to bid on one or both Contractors must provide a valid business license and proof of insurance of at least $1,000,000 at bid opening. All workmanship and material must be warranted for 1 year. Section 3 Contractors are welcome to bid. Bids will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder whose bid meets the above requirements. Bidder may withdraw the bid at any time prior to the bid opening.
