Renovation of an educational facility in S Deerfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
a. Provide and install all necessary staging, lifting, hoisting, and protection. b. Remove areas of wet insulation down to the deck where shown on the drawings and replace with rigid insulation the full depth to be flush with the existing roof. c. Mechanically install 2.5” of new rigid polyisocyanurate insulation. d. Install additional tapered polyisocyanurate insulation.in isolated areas to eliminate ponding water. e. Fully adhere ½” Dens Deck cover board. f. Fully adhere white PVC membrane and flashing to achieve a full system 30 year warranty. g. Disposal of items not scheduled for relocation or reuse, or not scheduled for return to Owner. Return items to Owner as noted. h. Contractor will be responsible for all other work that is shown in the Contract Documents that is not specifically identified to be that of others, including all work that is shown in the Contract Documents that is not identified as being any Contractor’s specific responsibility. i. The Contractor will be responsible for all cutting and patching to match. j. Furnish and install all other new construction as indicated in the Contract Documents. k. Modifications and renovations to existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing items at rooftop units, exhausters, drains, condensers, etc.
