A timeline for award has not yet been established. he work will include, but not be limited to, Repair of deteriorated substructure concrete, repairing deck cracks using epoxy injection, applying a Hybrid Composite Synthetic Concrete (HCSC) overlay, placing a new asphalt wearing course on the approaches, and updating the guide railing to comply with current standards for both the bridge and its approaches. Pedestrian traffic/accommodations shall be maintained at all times for the duration of the project. Saltonstall Street must be open to traffic and the project shall be substantially complete on or before September 1, 2024. This project is a City of Canandaigua Funded. The official time for the receipt of bids will be the time shown on the time stamp located at the letting location. Each Bidder shall include a Bid Bond, certified check, or bank cashier's check subject to the conditions provided in the "Instructions to Bidders". No Bidder may withdraw his/her bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual bid opening. The City of Canandaigua reserves the right to waive any and all informalities in or to reject any or all bids. All bids must be accompanied by a non-collusion statement in order to be considered. The City will issue the contract based upon the terms and conditions of the RFP.
