After each repair is completed and approved by the City, the maintenance contractor may invoice for actual time and materials used on the project. The contractor must include an itemized bill of the type and amount of materials used,along with hours for each job. "Time" is limited to labor hours on site. The City may not pay for the following if not included in the original quote: travel time, mileage, equipment usage (except for cranes), tools, storage, shop time, etc. or anything ancillary to roofing maintenance labor and materials. Removal and disposal of all materials shall be the responsibility of the successful bidder(s) unless otherwise instructed by the City. The successful bidder(s) shall clean up and properly dispose of and/or remove any excess materials and debris resulting from and/or associated with the work. All clean up and disposal expenses shall be included in the bid price. Disposal of all waste and debris, non-hazardous or hazardous, resulting from services shall be in accordance with both the State of Ohio and City of Dayton ordinances. Contractor is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe area. Removal and disposal of all waste shall be done by the Contractor on a continuous daily basis and as soon as possible. To establish a Firm Price Agreement for Roof Maintenance, Repairs and Related Services with firm pricing through March 31, 2025 with a possible option to renew, at the City of Dayton’s discretion, firm pricing for three (3) additional 12-month period from April 1, 2025, through March 31, 2028.
The City of Dayton reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in a bid, or to accept the bid or bids which in the judgment of proper officials, is to the best interest of the City
