A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Project includes the following Work: Exposing 147 water service lines, 18 inches each side of the curb stop box, at various locations across the city with hydro excavation methods and restoring any disturbed areas to their original condition with new materials. Where lead services are found, the Contractor will install a new service as directed. The purpose of this project is to identify water service line material to populate an inventory list in accordance with Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) lead and copper rule. Principal items of work include but are not limited to: 46 Ea Water Serv, Investigation, Case 1 101 Ea Water Serv, Investigation, Case 2 46 Ea Cleanup and Restoration, Case 1 101 Ea Cleanup and Restoration, Case 2 A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. City of Clio, hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive any formality or technicality in any Proposal in the interest of the Owner.
