The Project Includes the Following Work: Reconstruction of North Linn Avenue. Conversion of the Rural Roadway to an Urban Section Road Reconstruction to Include Roadway Widening to a 37-foot Wide Footprint With New Curb and Gutter and Storm Sewer. Work Items to Support the Street Reconstructions Include: Clearing and Grubbing. Unclassified Excavation. Traffic Control . Erosion Control. Storm Sewer. Asphalt Pavement and Base Course. Concrete Sidewalk. Concrete Curb and Gutter. Pavement Markings and Signage. Turf/site Restoration The Anticipated Substantial Completion Date is June 7, 2024 and Final Completion Date is June 21, 2024. No Proposal Will Be Accepted Unless Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond Equal to at Least 5% of the Amount Bid, Payable to the Owner as a Guarantee That, if the Bid is Accepted, the Bidder Will Execute and File the Proper Contract and Bond Within 15 Days After the Award of the Contract. The Certified Check or Bid Bond Will Be Returned to the Bidder as Soon as the Contract is Signed, and if After 15 Days the Bidder Shall Fail to Do So, the Certified Check or Bid Bond Shall Be Forfeited to the Owner as Liquidated Damages. No Bidder May Withdraw Their Bid Within 60 Days After the Actual Date of the Opening Thereof. Owner Reserves the Right to Waive Any Informalities or to Reject Any or All Bids.
