Site work and paving for a road / highway in North Freedom, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of July 11, 2025. Project Project was awarded to Scott Construction in the amount of $53,673.25. The work for which bids are asked includes fine grading and paving a 2.5-inch thick X 22-foot wide mat of 4 MT 58-28 S asphaltic concrete pavement on Town constructed base. Work is on Freedom Road beginning at the intersection of CTH PF extending approximately 0.5 miles south. Bids shall be based on completion of the paving by October 1, 2025. Shouldering and incidental work necessary to complete the project will be performed by the Town. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening. A portion of this work is funded by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP) No bid proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a current certificate of insurance. Materials and workmanship shall be supplied and performed in accordance with the latest edition of the State of Wisconsin Standard Specifications for Highway & Bridge Construction.
