Pavement repair at WVFD Station # 1 located at 377 Eastmont Avenue in East Wenatchee, WA. In Douglas County. Description: Pavement rehabilitation of existing SW section of drill ground. Removal and replacement of existing asphalt and curb with cast in place concrete as described in the request for proposal. At the existing Wenatchee Valley Fire Department fire station 1, perform the following work: Demo extruded curb and asphalt to base course 6’-0” beyond the top of slope to the concrete apron, Remove gravel base course to sub grade and stockpile for reuse Prep sub grade to proper elevations to accommodate pour in place barrier type curb and six-inch slab with #5 rebar and thickened edges. Preserve all adjacent surfaces and patch and repair any surfaces damaged during the work that is intended to remain or be reinstalled. Maintain structural integrity of the building at all times and cover and protect work from damage as needed to protect from vandalism, weather, and building entry by any outside element, etc. Demolish and/or remove all existing construction components, site improvements, systems, items, and equipment so indicated on the Drawings and as further required to properly implement the new work of the Contract. Remove existing earth, base course, and top course to a subgrade elevation appropriate for the new work. Compact subgrade and respread stored base course / top course, providing new imported base course as needed to achieve appropriate elevation prior to concrete placement.
