Foothill Transit is issuing this Invitation for Bids No. 24-013 (IFB) soliciting bids from qualified individuals or firms to remove the existing steam bay lift at Foothill Transit's Pomona Operations and Maintenance Facility and replace with new lift requirement, as more fully described in the Scope of Work provided in Part IV of the IFB. Project Location: 200 South East End Avenue, Pomona, CA. 1. The Project consists of the replacement of a defunct vehicle lift within the existing steam bay at the Pomona bus maintenance facility and the associated work with replacing the equipment including by not limited to the following: a. Replacement of electrical disconnect switch and connection for new equipment. Estimated Bid Value - $587,000.00 General contractors license and any other specialty license required for the work associated with the project. Project Duration - The work shall be substantially complete within eight (8) weeks + The Contractor shall finish all "punch list" items within 30 calendar days after issuance of the certificate of substantial completion Bid Bond 10.00% , Payment Bond 100.00% , Performance Bond 100.00% The request must be submitted through Foothill Transit's Procurement Portal. Foothill Transit reserves the right in its discretion to accept or reject any and all Bids submitted in response to the IFB, or to refuse to enter into a contract resulting from any Bid submitted, without expense to Foothill Transit.
