Site work for a water / sewer project in Maryland Heights, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project provides for the construction of an underground storm sewer to intercept and convey stormwater from the upper reaches of the drainage area. The improvement would consist of approximately 325 of 12 reinforced concrete pipe or approved alternative and appurtenances. It would connect to an existing storm sewer located at the rear of 2808 Hathaway Avenue. Goals - Eliminate or reduce erosion, structure and yard flooding and associated risks - Maintain/improve property values and enhance the safety and quality of life of neighborhood - Reduce annual maintenance costs associated with the investigation and repair of identified storm water problems. This project is included in the city’s 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of March 11, 2025, per owner, project is identified in their current five-year capital improvement program with design work slated to commence in 2028. The project construction would likely be performed in 2030. The five-year plan is evaluated each year and subject to change as priorities and revenue projections evolve. There has been no active work associated with this improvement to date. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
