PURPOSE OF SOLICITATION: El Paso County is requesting proposals from qualified, experienced, professional Consultants to furnish all services, labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the El Paso County (EPC) Pedestrian Crossings Project. February 5, 2024 @ 3:00 p.m. Deadline for Submitting Questions February 21, 2024 @ 3:00 p.m. Response Submission Deadline : Questions which arise during the Response preparation period regarding issues around this Solicitation, purchasing and/or award should be directed electronically, via the Rocky Mountain EPurchasing system, to Becky Schaffstein, CPPB, Lead Procurement Specialist, Contracts and Procurement Division, El Paso County. The Consultant submitting the question(s) shall be responsible for ensuring that the question(s) is received by the date and time listed above in the Schedule of Activities for submitting the question(s). TERM OF CONTRACT - MULTI-YEAR: This is a multi-year (4 year) agreement by where the services of the Consultant shall be in effect March 15, 2024 thru June 30, 2027. The initial term of this Agreement shall be in effect March 15, 2024 through December 31, 2024, at which time the County shall have the option to continue the Agreement for three (3) additional one-year terms under the same terms and conditions of the original Agreement upon approval of annual appropriation each year of the contract. Continuation of the Agreement beyond the initial period is a County prerogative and not a right of the Consultant and will be exercised only when such continuation is clearly in the best interest of the County.
