These stations will form an integral part of our climate monitoring initiative, providing critical data for various environmental and traffic planning applications. The city aims to install 10-30 weather stations citywide, focusing on capturing data to monitor microclimates accurately. INQUIRIES: All inquiries or questions must be directed to the Taryn Christoff via email to taryn.christoff@coloradosprings.gov by 1:00PM MST, February 29, 2024. Any addendums to this RFI will be provided to all participants REQUIREMENTS We are interested in weather station solutions that meet the following specifications: - Capacity to monitor a wide range of temperatures - Mounted atop poles or high places for better data collection - Low power consumptions or solar powered - Preference for technology that allow for automated retrieval of information - Feature an index of visibility to assess conditions that may impact traffic safety, such as darkness or fog
