Site work and paving for a road / highway in Walnut Grove, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment and doing the work of constructing, according to Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents on file in the office of the Owner, the improvements hereinafter described. The work of providing labor, equipment, and material for the Town of Walnut Grove Sloan Drive Paving - DWSRF Project Contract 1 will be let under one Contract. The principal items of work are detailed herein below: Mobilization and Demobilization Complete Wearing Surface Layer 200 Ton Upper Binder Layer 200 Ton Base Layer 100 Tons No refunds will be made except to bidding Contractors, who shall be refunded for one bid set. The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 150 consecutive calendar days and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner.
