The work is located at One Hurricane Lane, Morristown East High School. The facility is Long Reel Track. The area to be replaced includes 110 yards on both sides of center line of field. Total replacement will be 18 yards wide and 110 yards long (1,980 yard of sod) per field. (See diagram) Sod. Minimum age of 18 months, with root development that will support its own weight without tearing, when suspended vertically by holding the holding the upper two corners. Submit sod certifications for grass species and location of sod source. Sod Producer: Company specializing in sod production harvesting with minimum five years experience. Finished grading. Remove trash and stones; grade and contour; furnish and install Bermuda Tif Tuff sod. Sod shall be Tif Tuff and completely weed free. The turf appearance of the sod should be consistent in color and height of cut. Dormant or non-green sod will be acceptable and should Have transitioned to full color by the time of planting. The contractor shall grade and install the Bermuda Tif Tuff grass sod. The contractor will be responsible for the maintenance of the Bermuda grass sod during a minimum 2-month growth in period.
