Renovation of a mixed-use development in Richmond, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and educational facility.

Work includes inspection and repairs to existing standing seam metal and granule surfaced modified bitumen roofing surfaces necessary to ensure surfaces are suitable for successful and warrantable application of 100% silicone coating system. Coating adhesion testing on both types of roofing surfaces shall be performed prior to application of coating. Final coating thickness shall be not less than 37 mil DFT. Area of standing seam metal roof surface is approximately 250 squares. Area of modified bitumen roof surface is approximately 85 squares. Upon completion, a 20-year No-Dollar-Limit warranty shall be furnished by the silicone coating manufacturer and an unconditional 2-year warranty shall be provided by the roofing contractor. The building is located on Kit Carson Drive on the campus of Eastern Kentucky University. The building houses a gymnasium, athletic workout areas, restrooms, offices and classrooms for the Department of Criminal Justice Training. Owner operations will continue during the roof work.
