Work under this contract shall consist of furnishing and applying uniformly retro- reflectorized pavement makings of the type specified herein and at the specific locations designated by the Project Manager or designee. All materials and placement thereof shall be in accordance with MDOT specifications and shall meet MDOT specified reflectivity specifications. The RCKC retains the option of measuring the retroreflectivity readings of the pavement marking applied by the Contractor. Re-striping work shall include the application of new material over faded or worn existing pavement markings. This work shall be done in accordance with the schedules noted in this document. It is estimated that no layout work is necessary as the Contractor should be able to retrace existing markings The RCKC reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive irregularities and to award the proposal(s) they deem in the best interest of the RCKC.
