The project consists of providing underground utility locating services for DEN, on DEN's behalf, as an owner and operator of underground utilities. Pursuant to Colorado State Statute 9-1.5-101, DEN as an owner and operator of underground utilities must be a member of the State's official notification association, Utility Notification Center of Colorado (UNCC). As a Tier 1 member, DEN must identify all its underground utilities in response to utility locate requests (tickets) received by any requestor within its boundaries, and areas that could potentially impact its utilities (including Denver, Aurora, Commerce City, Adams and Arapahoe Counties adjacent to DEN). The Consultant shall be DEN's designated agent to UNCC and will receive and respond to locate tickets directly from UNCC for locate requests.
