Caverna High/Middle School, Outdoor Classroom. Bid Guaranty in the form of a Bid Bond (Proposal bonds with Contractor acting as surety are not acceptable), Certified Check, or cash shall accompany each bid. The amount of the bid Guaranty shall be not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid set forth in the Proposal Form. All bid Guaranties shall be made payable to the Metcalfe County Schools. shall be required to furnish a performance and payment bond and a material and payment bond in an amount equal to at least One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract price. The premium for the bonds shall be included in the proposal amount(s). Project Description: The project consists of construction of one new outdoor classroom near the softball field. The Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, site clearing, earthwork, termite control, lawns and grasses, cast-in-place concrete, rough carpentry, metal plate connected wood trusses, building insulation, metal roof and siding panels, soffits, sheet metal flashing and trim, joint sealants, metal doors and frames, wood windows, door hardware, painting, mechanical, plumbing and electrical, and clean-up and removal of construction debris. The Owner reserves the right to determine the ability of any bidder to perform the work, and upon the request of the Owner, any bidder shall furnish such information as may be required to make this determination.
