Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Lower Frederick Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The work to be performed consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and appurtenances for the building demolition, debris removal, site stabilization, and other related work located at 19 Wartman Road, 10 Skippack Pike, 1 Haldeman Road, 2 Haldeman Road, and 3 Haldeman Road, within Perkiomen Township. Each Proposal for the Project shall be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bank Treasurer's Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the form provided by the Contract Documents, drawn to the order of Perkiomen Township, and in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid, as a guarantee that if the Proposal is accepted, a Contract will be entered into and the performance thereby properly secured. The Successful bidder who is awarded the contract will be required to pay online a fee. The successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. The work shall be substantially completed within Sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, and as described in the Contract Documents. Proposals shall be valid for sixty (60) calendar days from the date of Bid opening. Attention is called to the fact that no less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid, and that employees are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. Wages paid employees of the successful bidder shall be subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The Board of Supervisors of Perkiomen Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or portions thereof. Perkiomen Township also reserves the right to overlook or "waive" a bid defect, irregularity, deficiency or nonconformance provided that: (1) same is patently insignificant or technical; (2) the best interests of the Township would be advanced by the waiver; (3) the waiver would not give an unfair advantage to one bidder over another; and, (4) the waiver would not violate Section 3102 of the Second Class Township Code, 53 P.S. 68102, et seq. The Bidder Question Deadline is hereby extended to Wednesday 21, 2024 at 11:30pm.
