professional cleaning services for the City's storm drains, catch basins, continuous deflective separation (CDS) units, connector pipe screens (CPS) and v-ditches. The City's Utilities Department is seeking qualified Contractor to perform cleaning services for the City's 26 continuous deflective separation (CDS) units, approximately 400 connector pipe screens (CPS), 42 Storm Drain Structures, 3,270 distinct catch basins and approximately 26,250 feet of v-ditches, on an annual basis. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and supervision to perform storm drain and v-ditch cleaning services as described herein including, but not limited to, the following: Remove foreign objects, plant material, and other blockage-causing debris from all catch basins, continuous deflective separation units, storm drain structures, mainlines, and v-ditches in the City on an annual basis between August 1 and December 31. The City reserves the right to: (1) Accept or reject any and all bids or any part of any bid, and to waive minor defects or technicalities in such; (2) Request clarification of any information contained in a bid; (3) Solicit new bids on the same project, or on a modified project, which may include portions of the original RFB as the City may deem necessary; (4) Disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids, (5) Reject the response of any bidder who does not pass the evaluation to the City's satisfaction, (6) Allow for the correction of errors and/or omissions; (7) Select the bid that will best meet the needs of the City, and (8) Negotiate service contract and terms with the successful bidder.
