Minority and/or Women-owned and Section 3 Businesses Are Encouraged to Respond The time for completion of this contract work is ONE HUNDRED FIFTY [150] calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed GDPM has established goals of twenty-five (25%) Minority Business Enterprise Participation All specific scope items shall be coordinated and reviewed on the drawings and specifications as applicable. 2. Maintain existing system operational during the installation of the new fire alarm system. Coordinate all applicable requirements. 3. Remove existing fire alarm system, equipment, devices, wiring, conduits, junction boxes, etc. 4. Installation of a new digital, addressable fire alarm system with manual voice paging. 5. Installation of fire alarm equipment such as amplifiers and power extenders to support the system. 6. Installation of new audio and visual fire alarm devices in common areas and within dwelling units as outlined. 7. Repair holes in floors and walls from the removal of the existing fire alarm system. Prep and paint impacted walls / ceilings / finishes as is applicable to the work. 8. Install fire stopping at wall / ceiling penetrations as is applicable to the work.
