Site work, new construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Aubrey, Texas. Working plans call for the construction of a 625-square-foot water / sewer project; for the renovation of a 625-square-foot water / sewer project; and for site work for a 625-square-foot water / sewer project.

The Upper Trinity Regional Water District (UTRWD/District) is requesting proposals for the construction of a patio and outdoor kitchen for the Riverbend Water Reclamation Plant. Proposals shall be submitted by firms that have a capable and demonstrable background in the type of work described in the SCOPE OF WORK. In addition, all interested firms shall have sufficient, readily available resources in the form of trained personnel, support services, specialized consultants, and financial resources to carry out the work without delay or shortcomings. Unless otherwise specified, all deliveries shall be made to: Riverbend Water Reclamation Plant 1780 Navo Road Aubrey, TX 76227 There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting held at the Riverbend Plant. Scope of Work a. Bidders shall obtain all necessary permits required for the project. b. Bidders shall excavate existing surface and remove any unused/excavated material. c. Base shall consist of 625 sq feet of Belgard pavers set on top of concrete treated base with concrete border. d. Concrete shall attain 100 percent of the 28-day strength before the pavers are installed. e. The minimum strength of the concrete should be 3000 psi. f. The minimum thickness of concrete slab should be 4 inches. g. Reinforce the concrete with #3 bars every 12 inches on center each way minimum. h. Use stainless steel or concrete support post. i. Use at least 6" of compacted gravel base below the concrete. i. Contractor to verify subgrade material is compacted to at least 95% of modified proctor after the excavation. Result forms should be verified to be in compliance prior to pouring the concrete. j. The following field quality control tests will be required: i. Test temperature of concrete at delivery. ii. Test slump of concrete using slump cone at the beginning of placement. iii. Test unit weight of concrete. iv. Test air content at point of delivery v. Compressive strength test: 1. Provide no less than 2-cylinder specimens, 4 inches in diameter by 8 inches long. 2. Each load of concrete requires certified batch documentation stating the PSI. k. Structure to be 25' by 25' with four (4) 8 by 8 support posts.
