Invitation to Bid Twin Falls County is seeking bids from qualified, licensed contractors for the replacement of a EVAPCO Cooling Tower. The EVAPCO cooling tower is to be replaced with a EVAPCO Model ATW 138C2 Closed Circuit Cooler. The following accessories are to be provided and installed: a discharge hood with dampers, (2) 9 KW electric pan heater packages (460/3/60), starter panel and a Series Flow 304 stainless steel basin section. Two supply and two return four-inch butterfly valves will also need to be replaced. Demolition, removal and disposal of all condenser piping, all makeup water piping, all electrical and controls is to be included. Contractor is to provide and install all necessary electrical modifications, all necessary condenser piping modifications and all necessary controls modifications as well as any incidental related apparatus necessary for a complete functional system. Contractor is to perform a start-up, owner training and verify that all systems are fully functional. New unit is to be warranted for a minimum of fifteen years. The Cooling Tower is located on the south side of what is called the MOB located at Twin Falls County West, 630 Addison Avenue West, Twin Falls, Idaho. Work is to be completed as rapidly as good construction practices allow. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% Payment and Performance Bond Sealed bids clearly marked Bid for Cooling Tower Replacement on the envelope must be received by the Twin Falls County Commissioners Office, located at Suite 2300, 630 Addison Avenue West, , Idaho. Bids must include the following: a copy of the bidder s public works license, a 5% bid bond, a copy of the contractor s Public Works license and Insurance Certificates. Bids received after the deadline set forth above will not be opened or considered. The Twin Falls County Board of Commissioners will review all bids and reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
