The Town of Lunenburg is seeking competitive proposals from qualified individuals/companies to provide efficient and consistent janitorial cleaning services at various Town premises as specified within this Request for Proposal ("RFP"). The scope of work for the contract is highlighted below inclusive of cleaning tasks, frequencies and cleaning standards, as required to keep the buildings in a clean and professional state. Any revision to this Request for Proposal will be issued as an addendum to all known potential proponents. The term of the contract will be 34 months commencing on approximately June 2024 and terminating the end of March 2027. This contract may be extended at the discretion of the Town for an additional 12 month term (total of 46 months). Year 1: May 1, 2024 - April 30, 2025 Year 2: May 1, 2025 - April 30, 2026 The Town shall have the right in its absolute and unfettered discretion to determine whether a proposal has been received prior to the Closing Time. Proposal prices must remain open and available for acceptance by the Town for 120 days after the Closing Time. Proponents may not make modifications to their Proposals after the closing date and time. All proposals shall become the property of the Town of Lunenburg. It is the responsibility of each proponent to submit all required documents as outlined in this Request for Proposal. Failure to quote on all options set out may disqualify your proposal. The Town is not under any obligation to award a contract, and reserves the right to terminate this RFP at any time for any reason, and to withdraw from discussions with all or any of the proponents who have responded.
