The district currently has aging OM1 and OM2 fiber optic lines in place that need to be replaced to improve distance and speed limitations between MDF and IDF connections. The project will be focused on the schools listed below. The district will be looking for approximately 6 wiring locations throughout the district. The RFP award will be based on cost of materials and labor. Project will not start before July 1, 2024 and must be completed by May 30, 2025. East Hartford Public Schools reserves the right to negotiate with and enter into contracts with multiple firms selected through this RFP process.
