The City of Ontario is seeking vendor(s) to provide a wide variety of supplies, tools and equipment for use in the maintenance and repair of wastewater lines throughout the City as required by the Ontario Municipal Utilities Company. The City is looking for vendor(s) which can supply the requested items as well as those with local store locations in the vicinity of the 91761 zip code for in-store pick-ups on account. The City reserves the right to award its total requirements to one bidder, or to apportion those requirements among several Bidders as the City may deem to be in its best interests. Quantities listed are annual estimates only and not indicative of a guaranteed level of usage. Any items not listed on this bid shall be purchased at equivalent category discount. Although price is a factor in selection of supplier(s), award may not be made strictly on the basis of low bid. The City reserves the right to waive any immaterial irregularity in any bid if it is determined to be in the best interest of the City to do so. The City has established a local preference to vendors located within the City limits of Ontario a 1 3/4% advantage in the City's determination of low bid, and a 3/4% advantage of vendors outside the City but within the County of San Bernardino.
