Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Dunedin, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The work generally consists of the following: The replacement of the 12" existing water main along Virginia Street from the intersection of Lake Haven Road to the intersection of Keene Road. The water main will replace approximately 2,010 LF with PVC and CERTA-LOK PVC. Replacements will also consist of new connections to existing side street water mains on Peggy Ray Drive, Aberdeen Oaks Dr., and Treemont Way, grout filling existing pipelines, sodding, sidewalk repairs, mill and resurfacing, and pavement full-depth road restoration. Additionally, the project involves the installation of an 8" water main stub out and fire hydrant assembly at Knollwood Drive. All contractor Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted ten (10) days before the bid opening. The request should be sent in writing via email to purchasing@dunedinfl.net. In addition, the proposals must be marked with the bidders name and address. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that the BIDDER will not withdraw from the competition after the opening of the bids and, if written notice is given of such award, enter into a written Contract with the City of Dunedin, Florida, in accordance with the written Proposal. Should the successful BIDDER fail to enter into a Contract, the bid bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages. The time allotted for this project is 365 days for substantial completion. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a Certificate of Insurance and a Performance and Payment Bond and meet other requirements, as set forth in the contract. The City of Dunedin, Florida, reserves the right to reject any and all bids received, waive any irregularities or informalities, re-advertise, and award the Contract in its best interest. Bids that are incomplete or that are not submitted in accordance with the instructions in the invitation may be disqualified No proposal may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days without the consent of the City.
