The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit sealed proposals to establish a contract(s) through competitive negotiation for the purchase of as needed on call consultant services to provide a wide range of multimodal planning activities. The Office of Intermodal Planning and Investment is responsible for long term planning across the Commonwealth for the Office and other entities within the transportation Secretariat and the Secretary of Transportation in his role as Chair of the Commonwealth Transportation Board. On-call multimodal planning support for the Office of Intermodal Planning and Investment (OIPI); to achieve responsibilities laid out in Code of Virginia. by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). For two (2) years from the date indicated on the Notice of Award (anticipated August 15, 2024 through August 14, 2026) with three (3) optional one-year renewals.
