RFQ Questions: February 21,2024 at 12:00pm HVAC: Install steam piping (90 psig and condensate return) between manhole #3 and manhole #4 at the UMA campus. The existing piping is situated within a steam tunnel, spanning approximately 200 feet between the two manholes. The contractor will be responsible for fabricating a temporary steam line to facilitate the reconstruction of the existing systems within the steam tunnels. This project will necessitate several coordinated shutdowns with the owner to enable the installation of the temporary pipe and construction of the new piping. Electrical: Site electrical scope includes removing and disposing (R&D) utility poles and overhead wires (work to be coordinated with Eversource); R&D site lights, conduits, and handholes; Disconnecting, cutting, and capping electric service to Draper Hall Annex. Electric service to Draper Hall shall be maintained. R&D blue (emergency) phone and associated electric service. Temporary power (for construction) to be installed onsite.
