As of March 28, 2024, bids receive rejected. No definite date for the rebid. Reference Number 0000342932 The Town of Apple Valley (Town) is requesting proposals from qualified contractors (Contractor) to provide and install three (3) new in-kind backstops at Sycamore Rocks Park and James A. Woody Park. Two (2) backstops will be installed at Sycamore Rocks Park, and one (1) at James A. Woody Park Field 9. Demolition, footing removal, haul away, and disposal of current backstops and materials will be the responsibility of the Contractor. Delivery of the materials, sitework, and construction of three new in-kind backstops will be the responsibility of the Contractor. Each backstop and associated work will require signed and stamped engineering plans, by a California Certified Civil Engineer. Interested contractors are welcome to visit the site prior to submitting a proposal. There will not be a formal job walk for this project. Question Acceptance Deadline 02/28/2024 1:00 PM PT Questions are submitted online No -- All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted in writing to the attention of Danielle Smith, either in hard copy or via email at: dasmith@applevalley.org . All work shall be completed within fifteen (15) working days based on the Caltrans 5-Day Working Days calendar.
