As of October 29, 2025, the project has been cancelled. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Coupeville Wharf Waste System Replacement Project Budget: $30,000 Project Summary: Replace/improve existing onsite, over water, waste system at the historic Coupeville Wharf. Bidder Responsibility: To be eligible for award, bidders must be able to provide evidence of the following: Proper licensure and registration as a contractor in the State of Washington, Island County, and Island County Public Health as a general contractor, septic designer, AND installer. Not be precluded from bidding public works projects. Not debarred or suspended under the federal system of awards management (SAM.gov). Provide USL&H Insurance for work over the water. Supplemental Bidder Responsibility: 5 years, or more, providing on-site wastewater design and installation.
