A. The Work of the Contractor consists of HVAC Upgrades for the Evergreen Public Schools at Cascadia Tech Academy, 12200 NE 28th St., Vancouver, WA 98682 as indicated on Contract Documents prepared by Evergreen Public Schools and its consultants. The Drawings and Specifications are dated February 14, 2024. 1. The scope of work is a full controls upgrade for the 200 and 300 buildings to meet the district standards, integrating the 100 and 400 building graphics into a central graphical interface. Replace the kitchen makeup air unit and heat pump system with new units. There are diffuser and ductwork adjustments in the kitchen space. Replace the heating water boiler, pump and terminal unit actuators in the 200 building. Replace the heating water boilers, pumps, and terminal unit actuators and control valves in the 300 building. B. Estimated Construction costs - $550,000 HVAC Upgrades for Evergreen Public Schools at Cascadia Tech Project. Project Description: The Contractor will provide all labor, equipment, materials, project management, and site supervision as required to complete the Cascadia Tech HVAC Upgrades scope of work described in the project drawings and specifications. The project is estimated to cost $550,000. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a bid bond for not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid amount, excluding applicable State of Washington taxes. Bid security shall be forfeited as damages should the Bidder neglect or refuse to enter into a contract and provide a suitable bond for performance/payment for labor and materials. The Board of Directors of Evergreen Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and waive any informality or irregularities.
