Engineer's Estimate: The estimated Contract cost of the project is approximately $80 to $90 Million. The I-5/E Fork Lewis River - Bridge Replacement project extends along Northbound 1-5 between MP 17.2 19.0 in Clark County, outside of any city limits, in Southwest. Washington and will replace the existing Northbound steel truss bridge (Structure #005/36E, MP 18.21) with a new bridge without load restrictions. Project improvements shall include, but are not limited to, the following: " A new, Northbound 1-5 bridge, which will support three lanes. The new bridge shall span the East Fork Lewis River, Paradise Point State Park day-use area, and Toenjes Road, meeting the required vertical clearances. * Re-profiling the new Northbound 1-5 vertical alignment to meet current standards. * Maintaining three lanes of traffic in both the Northbound and Southbound directions of 1-5 throughout construction. * Removal of the existing Northbound I-5 bridge (Structure g005/36111:) steel truss and concrete approach spans, including the superstructure and substruc-ture, Other major work includes, but is not limited to, embankment, grading, retaining walls, paving, storm drainage, water quality facilities, signing, striping, potential ground improvements, and landscaping. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
