Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Bristol, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 14,000-square-foot, two-story above grade, 23-unit multi-residential development; and for site work for a multi-residential development.
Quesenberry's Construction, acting as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the Bristol Regional Housing Authority, is seeking bids from subcontractors and suppliers for the Goodson Hills development project. This development is to be built on a vacant 1.4-acre site located at 200 Mary Street in Bristol, VA. The project will involve three townhouse-style buildings that will contain a total of 23 residential units. Each residential unit will contain 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. Five of the 23 units will be universal design. Project funding is provided in part by Virginia Housing. The Contractor will be required to comply with VHDA Minimum Design and Construction Requirements, details of which are included in the Project Manual. Funding for the project requires the project to involve aspects of energy efficient and environmental design, including: Energy Star Certification and Earth Craft Certification. Davis Bacon wage rates APPLY to this bid. A wage determination will be provided by addendum. "BUY AMERICAN" restrictions for materials procurement is not a requirement of this project.
