Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Bristol, Virginia. Completed plans call for the addition of a 1,475-square-foot municipal facility; for the renovation of a 6,413-square-foot municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for the demolition of a municipal facility.
As of November 20,2023, project was awarded to BurWil Construction, awarded amount is $1,736,130.60. Additions and Renovations to Washington County, Virginia Animal Shelter Washington County VA is seeking sealed Bids for the construction of Additions and Renovations at the new Washington County Animal Shelter location. The existing structure is approximately 6,400 square feet in area and is located at 15050 Lee Highway, Bristol VA . The Project generally consists of extensive renovation to approximately 2,400 square feet of the existing building and the remainder of the area to a lesser degree. There is also a planned dog kennel addition of approximately 1,485 square feet. Specifications and Scope of Work are provided with the Solicitation. DEADLINE FOR QUESTIONS: October 10, 2023, at 5:00 pm. All questions should be submitted by email no later than seven working days before the due date to mweaver@thelanegroupinc.com . The email inquiry should be identified with the subject line of: "Questions Regarding Additions & Renovations to Washington County Animal Shelter". Each bid shall be accompanied by surety in the form of a bid bond or letter of credit in the amount of five percent of the amount of the bid. Performance Bond and Payment Bond A performance security instrument (bond or letter of credit) in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid price for materials and installation may be required of the Contractor prior to providing goods/services.
