The City of Bristol, Virginia is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the installation of traffic signals and other improvements at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Bob Morrison Boulevard. All work shall be performed in accordance with criteria set forth in the contract documents The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids. The City reserves the right to discard all bids which are nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional. 4 % Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal The work consists of , but is not limited to, minor grading and stabilization; disposal of unsuitable or surplus materials; removal of existing pavements and median; placement of aggregate base, concrete median and asphalt concrete paving materials; placement and maintenance of erosion and sedimentation control measures; removal of existing traffic signal equipment; installation of conduit, signal poles, mast arms, and signal heads; installation of controller cabinet and controller; pavement markings and all incidental work necessary to complete the project in an acceptable manner, ready for use, occupancy, or operation by the City of Bristol, Virginia.
