**As of April 16, 2024, the project was awarded to the low bidder, MCC, Inc., in the amount of $1,268,570.15.** Project - The work shall consist of pulverizing, fine grading and installing new HMA pavement on various roadways located in the Village of Fox Crossing. There is approximately 16,500 L.F. of existing asphalt pavement streets to be pulverized, fine graded, placement of 11,000 tons of new HMA pavement, approximately 900 L.F. of replacement concrete curb and gutter, and 20,000 L.F. of pavement marking. Additional work includes removal and installation of 1,750 L.F. of beam guard along Butte Des Morts Beach Road and removing 3,700 S.Y. of asphalt pavement and installing 800 tons of new HMA pavement of recreational trail along Cold Spring Road. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be submitted to the ENGINEER in writing. Replies will be issued by Addenda. Questions received less than 5-days prior to the date for opening of Bids will not be answered. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Bid Security No Bid shall be received unless accompanied by a Certified Check or satisfactory Bid Bond payable to the Village of Fox Crossing in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum Bid as a guarantee that, if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the Contract, Performance/Payment Bonds and Insurance Certification, as required by the Contract Documents, within 15-days after the Notice of Award. Bid rejection - The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informalities in Bidding or to accept the Bid or Bids which best serves the interests of the Village of Fox Crossing.
