2024 SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION (CIPP) PROJECT The City of Pocatello (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 2024 SANITARY SEWER REHABILITATION (CIPP) PROJECT/ WPC-009 The Project includes the following Work: The work includes the rehabilitation of 7331 feet of 8-inch diameter existing sanitary sewer pipes with Cured-inPlace Pipe (CIPP) installation, including cleaning, closed circuit television (CCTV) inspection, cutting off protruding laterals, lateral reinstatement, bypass pumping, traffic control, and other associated work. The project is located in the City Limits of Pocatello, Idaho, within the street right of ways, alleyways, and backyard easements. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Pre-bid Conference No Pre-Bid Conference will be held. Instructions to Bidders In determining the lowest responsive bid, the Owner will consider all acceptable bids on a basis consistent with the bid package. The Owner will also consider whether the bidder is a responsible bidder. All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Pocatello as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instruction to Bidders. The City of Pocatello reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to accept the proposal in the best interest of City of Pocatello.
