The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to solicit competitive sealed bids to establish a contract to install insulation at Yarden Farm Warehouse If bids are mailed or delivered by express mail, they must be delivered to 256 Bland Farm Road, Bland VA 24315 Faxed, emailed, or oral bids will not be accepted. Due to the rural location of issuing Agency (Bland Agribusiness) Fedex and UPS will not guarantee AM delivery, please allow ample time for bid to be delivered. This is a turn-key project. This building will be utilized for storage, also by both farm staff and inmates while working on the farm. Contractors A License is required for this project. o R19 Insulation Rolls - 5 ft wide x 50 ft long for 25,520 sq ft building o 3/4 " Stainless Steel- Straps for support o 4" Vinyl tape o Metal coated screws o Miscellaneous hardware and supplies CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY o Scaffolding/lift needed to access ceiling and walls o All safety equipment and PPE need to comply with OSHA requirements o Drills, Knives, assorted hand tools as needed o Attach R19 insulation to building walls, ceiling and walls using SS straps screwed into steel beams and insulation sealed with vinyl tape. o Contractor to dispose of all scrap, refuse from project.
