Any such unauthorized contact may result in disqualification of the bidder from this transaction. COPE OF WORK A. Where indicated on the drawings, remove all existing drain hardware including strainer baskets, clamping rings and bolts and replace with new parts matching the existing drain bowl type and size. B. At five (5) locations, remove existing and install new Hercules retro-drains as required and shown. This work shall be included in the Base Bid amount. C. At locations where existing drain bowls will be abandoned (if any), remove all drain bowl parts, drain bowl and below deck piping to first elbow and cap pipe as required to meet plumbing code. Install minimum 16-gauge galvanized steel plate over roof deck opening fastened to roof deck 4-inchs on center with ¼ x 1-1/2-inch self-tapping sheet metal screws. B. If required, replace an existing damaged roof drain bowl including the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the replacement of the existing damaged roof drains and associated connections/piping, as needed for proper completion of the work and successful operation of the entire drainage system, to the full intent and meaning of the drawings and specifications whether specifically called for or not.
