**As of May 2, 2024 project was awarded to Nu-Idea School Supply, awarded amount is $89,120.90.** You are invited to submit sealed proposals to contract with the County Board of Education of McDuffie County, Georgia (herein after referred to as "McDuffie County School System "or "Owner"), to provide furnishings, fixtures, and equipment (as outlined), at the time and place noted herein. McDuffie County Schools is soliciting proposals for interested, qualified vendors to provide furniture and installation services for additions at Norris Elementary School and Dearing Elementary School. Respondents shall have demonstrated experience providing services similar to those identified in this RFP, including order development, order management and project management (procurement and installation) for a project of this type and scope. Scope of services to include: a) Meet with representatives from the McDuffie County School District Project Team for orientation at the building site. b) Provide furniture planning and selection assistance. Work with the Project Team to review the list of new furniture with preliminary price quotes. Modify preliminary selections as requested and adjust price quotes as needed. c) Provide project submittal, including "cut-sheets" with specific notations related to selected furniture features. d) Provide price quotes from manufacturers and final product pricing. If costs exceed project budget, assist Project Team as necessary to bring FF&E back into budget. e) Procurement of final approved furniture. f) Provide overall schedule for furniture delivery, and installation sequencing. g) Coordinate delivery schedules to coincide with approved project and delivery schedules as coordinated with Project Manager. h) Receive product shipments, manage offloading and delivery to interior location. Uncrate products and properly dispose of shipping materials. i) Assemble and install items in place, ensuring all items are leveled, plumbed and aligned properly with adjacent units and in accordance with the furniture plan developed. j) Leave the premises in clean condition with all packing materials and debris removed and all items free of dust and lint. The School System, in its discretion, may award the Contract, in whole or part, to the responsible and responsive proposer submitting the proposal which is deemed to be the most advantageous to the System, price and other factors being considered. After reviewing the proposals, the staff may, at its discretion, invite to interview one or more of the proposers whose proposals appear to meet the System's requirements. The purpose of such an interview would for all proposers to elaborate upon their proposal before a recommendation for ranking of the Proposals is made.
