Construction of a geothermal facility to be used to heat the new Regina Indoor aquatics facility. TIMELINE: This project is being delivered as part of the indoor aquatics facility which broke ground in 2025. Drilling of wells in tentatively planned for 2026 with the system becoming operational alongside the pool opening in 2029. Related trade packages will be tendered individually as the project moves forward. *The proposed Indoor Aquatic Facility is being followed separately.
