Reference Number 0000264616 Job Location Niagara Road Name QEW Program Year 2024-25 Group WP Number 2125-18-00 Project Classification Construction Administration Niagara Street to Seventh Street: Grading, Full-Depth Concrete Base Repairs, Hot Mix Paving, Electrical Upgrades and Drainage The Pavement Engineering Services for this specialty plan involves inspecting and testing the exposed concrete pavement (Jointed Reinforced Concrete Pavement (JRCP) and Jointed Plain Concrete Pavement (JPCP)) at Construction Stage (after removal of the Asphalt Concrete Overlay (ACO)) in order to verify concrete repair locations identified in the contract and determine any additional repair locations. The concrete pavement type (JRCP, JPCP) shall be as specified in the Contract Documents. The testing frequency and criteria for full depth concrete repair shall be in accordance with the corresponding concrete pavement type indicated in this work plan. The Services shall also include Quality Assurance (QA) testing of repair areas completed with Full Depth Concrete Repair, Fast Track Full Depth Concrete Repair or Precast Concrete Slab Repair at Post-Construction Stage. The general requirements of the Pavement Engineering Services and Contract Administrator responsibilities for this specialty are outlined in the following sections.
