Site work for a water / sewer project in Holland, Ohio. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of July 21, 2025, an engineer has been selected, and this project is in the design phase. It is anticipated bidding will commence in February 2028 with construction following. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Preliminary Planning & Design Evaluate cost effective alternatives to address the un-sewered areas based on Health Department and EPA sampling as performed for the EPA findings and orders. Coordinate aspects of sampling/ testing, environmental and archeologi- cal surveys, easements, geotechnical findings, assessments, and permits. This work will result in the development of bid documents and construction drawings: for a centralized sanitary sewer system. Estimating, Financing Schedule - Develop estimates of proba- ble project cost, projected operation and maintenance costs including projected staffing requirements for the various. alternatives (and phasing). Assist in exploring additional funds as we get to a "shovel ready" status. Participate in update meetings with the Ohio EPA and adjacent Counties and Townships to educate the public on the alternatives and address the unsanitary conditions. Develop project work plan and schedule to ensure a successful project.
